So you’re ready to make the commitment on buying your first pair of dance shoes. A quick search online reveals endless options ranging in prices and styles. One of the first things to realize is that shoes can be made for particular dances or they can be made for general practice. Where to buy your shoes
If you’re in Winnipeg, here are three options:
Mandarin International (Forks – Johnson Terminal)
How about buying online? A word of warning, dance shoes makers don’t seem to have a uniform metric so I wouldn’t recommend buying online unless you won’t mind the return process should they not fit.
Make sure to also buy a shoe brush to clean the soles (it’ll usually cost around $10)! Check here for video.
